The Finnish Jewellery Art Association is an association of professional jewellery artists and designers. Founded in 2005 in Lappeenranta, the association’s activities are nationwide and based on a strong expertise in the field. The aim of the association is to promote contemporary jewellery as a form of art and design in Finland and to raise the profile of Finnish jewellery abroad.

The association provides information and organises training, exhibitions and events, such as the International Jewellery Triennial KORU and the Jewellery Art Marketplace at the Cable Factory (Helsinki), and cooperates with national and international art museums, educational institutions and other cultural organisations. The association also collects jewellery and, together with the South Karelia Artists’ Association, runs a gallery space at the Itä (East) Art Centre in Lappeenranta. In 2019, the Jewellery Art Association was awarded the State Prize for Design. The association has also published a guide to jewellery art.

Opening at the Oulu Art Museum in January 2025, KORU8 is part of the KORU Triennial, which includes an international seminar, exhibition and workshops. The KORU Triennial brings together jewellery artists from around the world and presents contemporary international jewellery art in Finland. KORU8 is the eighth edition of the Triennial. The Jewellery Art Association has been organising the Triennial since 2015.
