The art cabinets can be reserved free of charge by day-care centres of the City of Oulu. The next art cabinet loans will become available for booking in April or May 2024. Use the form below to express your interest in reserving an art cabinet for your day-care centre. Open the art cabinet loan reservation form (in Finnish).

Currently, Juho Könkkölä’s Forest Folk and Ilona Kivijärvi’s Sunflower Land cabinets are touring the day-care centres. Next autumn there will be touring Ilona Kivijärvi´s and Tiina Seppälä´s art cabinets. The loan period of each art cabinet is two weeks. The loan periods are assigned to the day-care centres considering the transport distances and the requests of other users. Oulu Art Museum’s museum technicians will transport the art cabinet to and from the day-care centre in a van. The personnel of the day-care centre oversee displaying and storing the art cabinet and for ensuring the safety of the artwork.

We will allocate the next dates based on booking requests in May. You will receive an e-mail with the exact loan period later.
