Public artworks, executed in different ways, tell stories of their own time and place. Displayed in everyday spaces and environments, they are there to be seen and experienced. Encounters with them can be short and fleeting, or something that stops you and makes you think. When art makes an impact, it leaves an impression regardless of whether the work is permanent or temporary.
