The mini art cabinets contain information about the artwork, display instructions and ideas for exploring the cabinet. The mini art cabinets are the little sisters of the larger art cabinets produced by the museum for regional use through the library transport system.

The loan period of mini art cabinets is two weeks, but it can be extended if, for example, several units within the same municipality want to use the cabinet.

The Oulu Art Museum arranges the transportation, while the exhibitor oversees displaying and storing the showcase and ensures the safety of the artwork.

The mini art cabinets are available free of charge for day-care centres in North Ostrobothnia and Kainuu, as well as for municipalities and welfare areas that provide services for the elderly. They can also be lent to other parts of Finland for a fee. In this case, the fee will be agreed separately.

You can reserve a mini art cabinet using the reservation form. Please give as much information as possible about loan periods that you can accommodate. The exact loan periods will be communicated to the exhibitors by email. Book a mini art cabinet (in Finnish).
